Spaide R.I.P.P.E.R. (Rhyming In Perfection, Punishing Every Rapper) is as serious as his name when it comes to creating his own box of wittiness, wordplay, sarcasm and an intellect that reaches the core of the collective hip-hop conscious.

The Source Magazine in 2003 crowned him the Peoples Champ of St. Louis, long before the world had heard of another rapper claiming this title. In his own words Spaide pulls no punches, “Im in the game to up the value of music coming out of Saint Louis. I think thats what every artist from my city should be in it for.” This determination and dedication to quality is only one clue as to why Spaide has been named Saint Louis Best Hip-Hop Artist 2005.

Spaides buzz is finally being felt in places far away from Wabada & Goodfellow the hood in Saint Louis, Missouri that he now calls his home. Off the strength of his numerous mixtapes, his tenacious grind and his very own record label, Hassle Life, Spaide has placed himself in the offices of some of the industries most respected label heads.

While he continues to field offers from various labels, Spaide continues to attack the game by releasing the club banging single ALWAYS, which held 13 weeks on the Billboard charts top ten and is still getting major burn in markets as far away as Houston,TX; Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Miami,Fl. The hit record went on to be featured on “Scarfaces'” album “My Homies Pt 2.” In 2006.

The critically acclaimed Peoples Champ of Saint Louis signed a lucrative deal with Urban World Wireless to create Ringtones so that more of his fans can access his music.

All of Spaides current success can be linked back to the days when he used to eat mcs as a member of the notorious street posse the Hassles, along with Nimmy Russell and Trauma Man. Listeners to his earlier music can definitely witness Spaides growth as an MC and his dedication to creating great music that can be enjoyed by all ages. This approach is what got him recognized by legendary comic genius and fellow St. Louisan, Joe Torry, who invited the rapper to record music for the soundtrack to his Torry Brothers comedy DVD. Spaide has also made guest appearances and/or collaborations with Juvenile, Potzee(Asylum), Ruka Puff, opened up for boxing dynamo Devon Alexander the Great and with Spanish Rap Group Tres Coronas nominated to a Latin Grammy in 2007. Tres Coronas recorded the spanish version of Spaide’s smash hit ALWAYS.

The same business acumen that led him to establish his own label with partners Bo and BoOo is what drove Spaide to create Saint Louis first DVD project by an underground artist,” Dat New Dirty” and to drop several street certified mixtapes such Da Streetz Iz Talkin released in 2008, The Wabada Ave Vol 1. released in 2009 and I’m The Champ Murda Mixtape released in 2010 under his own Label. in 2009-2010, he teamed up with Phat Budda and Beasta Music Group ( Home of Stevie Stone former Ruthless Records artists, now signed to Strange Music Inc. and Jibbs signed to UMG/Geffen ) to release his debut album, but the label ended up not releasing it, however Spaide recorded a song RUN TUN for Stevie Stone´s debut album under Fly Moves/Ruthless Records/Sony/Colombia/RED with a national distribution in the US.

In 2010 Spaide Ripper joined forces with St. Louis own State 2 State Ent. and Smoke Dog CEO, together collaborated with music industry artists like Yo Gotti, 8Ball & MJG, DJ Khaled, Bubba Sparxxx, Ebony Eyes and Jelly Joe releasing a digital EP on itunes, the first single released ESKIMO featuring YO GOTTI was featured on DJ ENVY and TAPEMASTERS INC mixtape ser.   ies PURPLE CODEINE 27 and FIVE STAR GENERAL with a wide-range of national and interational audience, the second single Ridin´on 4´s featuring 8Ball & MJG was released soon after with a world-exclusive on WORLDSTARHIPHOP.COM

Spaide released his ” Zombiie” mixtape featuring the single “After Midnight”, that tops the download charts of CDBaby.com, also becoming a cult classic among fans. Spaide toured with Stevie Stone while he  prepared to sign to Strange music, leading to Tech N9ne himself saying “Spaide Ripper is a real artist” In the  announcement video for Stevies’ signing, giving people a glimpse into the possible future for Spaide as well.  Stone  featured Spaide on his first album with Strange Music, “Rollin Stone” on a song with label mate Big Scoob called ” Goin Down”, which was nominated for “party track of the year” in an Annual Strange Music Award poll. Spaide continued to tour with Stone. He was featured on “Jump” with Kutt Kalhoun on Stevie’s “Momentum” EP, and was featured on Stevie’s first single “The Reason” on his 2013 album “2 birds one Stone.” By this time, Spaide had released the sequel to his mixtape “Zombiie 2” featuring  “Retarded” a duet with Stone that they filmed a video to, which garners many views and is the most requested song for Spaide Ripper to date.

In 2014, Spaide Ripper performed at The Gathering of The Juggalos twice in one year. Spaide performed a guest appearance with Stevie Stone on the Carousel stage on the first night of the event, and also had his own set on the last night of the event on the Pendulum stage. Spaide solidified himself into the “juggalo” fan base, declaring that he finally found his “home.” Spaide also won “performer of the year” 3 years in a row at this time at STL award ceremony “Rappers’ Ball.”

Spaide headlined the “Demons vs. Zombiies” tour in Feb-March of 2015. Covering 14 cities across the south, southwest and Midwest, Spaides’ brand has been growing stronger everyday. He is set to release his new project “Zombiie 3” this October. With features from underground heavyweights like !Mayday!, Aqualeo, Stevie Stone, Cognito and Marcus Yates, the best from Spaide has yet to come.
